On the occasion of the Club Med Live Festival 2024 at the Grand-Massif Samoëns Resort, we had the opportunity to realize a partnership we had dreamed of with Casio Music. Two designer pianos (Casio Privia) were installed on our open stage at an altitude of 1,600 meters. Here's the story.

Inspiration and creation on the Alpine peaks Casio Music and we shared the same ambition: to offer artists a unique chance to test new ideas, write, and play in exceptional conditions to stimulate their creativity and produce original content.

To bring this vision to life, we decided to provide two magnificent Casio Privia pianos in the heart of the Alps, during the entire week of the artists' residency from June 24 to 29. One piano was set up in the rehearsal studio, while the other was placed in front of the resort's panoramic view. This allowed the artists numerous opportunities to let their hands run over these keys.

Throughout the week, they were able to test their compositions and film beautiful outdoor musical clips for their communities and Casio's.

We notably saw Woodi, a Swiss artist with captivating songs, reconnect with the piano. Margie, her real name, fell in love with the instrument for the second time while performing an exclusive version of her latest single "Les Mots Couteaux" in a piano-voice arrangement on the terrace of her room.

Monsieur Orange usually a guitarist, discovered the powerful sounds and emulations of the keyboard live under the Grand-Massif gondolas, an unforgettable live sequence.

Stunning performances The first days of the creative residency gave way to live performances.

On Wednesday evening, during a jam session (open stage for all participants) in the cozy corner of the hotel, we witnessed a parade of artists who played freely all evening. The most striking image for us remains Cléa Vincent performing her electrifying song "J'm'y attendais pas" on the yellow Casio Privia keyboard, surrounded by other musicians in residence that week.

The next day at noon, on the large terrace overlooking the snowy peaks, we discovered the enchanting voice of the ambassador of this partnership: Vernis Rouge. The artists and the organizing team were left speechless during this intimate solo concert, highlighting the touching connection between the artist and her instrument. A moment of sweetness, especially during her performance of "Message Personnel" in homage to Françoise Hardy.

A creative legacy As an extension of this unforgettable week, the Casio team donated the pianos to the Club Med Grand-Massif Samoëns Resort. Thus, clients and artists in the program will be able to release their creativity throughout the summer and perhaps write the score for a future title performed later on the resort's open stage.

A big thank you to the Casio Music France team for their trust and enthusiasm in accompanying us during this festival week, marking the beginning of a beautiful story.
